Nikos Alexiou pavilion before the opening of the biennale

Nikos Alexiou and Giorgos Tzirtzilakis (curator for the Greek pavilion)
exhausted some hours before the opening of the exhibition.
Also Nikos Alexiou had put a lot of work into zeal, with the help of his assistants.
The rest of the pictures show the pavilion from the inside of course,
one of the best presentations in Venice biennale indeed. Do we really need
a kind of 'stasis', to rethink again the importance of contemporary art practises and finally to admit that we are not obliged to follow the avant- garde canon?
Alexiou's work starts from a similar tradition that is not
not modernistic in the strict sense of the word.and maybe that is one of the main reasons that we full enjoy his art
